The village of Mola in Zimbabwe was the pilot location for our first programme in 1993. Now nation-wide, Camfed provides support for education, post-school opportunities, leadership training and health outreach.

Camfed has worked in Zambia since 2001. We work in partnership with the Ministry of Education and focus on girls' education, post-school opportunities, health outreach and leadership training.
- Ghana

Camfed has worked in Ghana since 1996. Our work is concentrated in the Northern Region of the country where girls' access to education is particularly low.
- Tanzania

Camfed has worked in Tanzania since 2005. The country is currently experiencing the lowest secondary school enrolment rates in Africa but government initiatives, in which Camfed is playing a key role, aim to increase enrolment from 6% to 50% by 2010.
